Jerusalem Cherry (solanum pseudocapsicum)

These decorative perennials can be grown as house plants or as small ornamental shrubs in the landscape. Jerusalem Cherries can survive frosts and cold weather to zone 8. They generally live up to 10 years, usually producing fruit in their first or second year, and every year after that. The tomato-like fruit is strictly ornamental and can be poisonous.
