Peeling Bark Elm Tree (ulmus parvifolia drake)

A fast-growing tree with a graceful spreading rounded canopy of long arching and somewhat weeping branches which are clothed by 2 to 3 inch long shiny dark green leathery leaves. Showy exfoliating bark reveals random mottled patterns of gray green orange and brown adding great textural and visual interest to the garden. Full grown specimens can reach 80 feet with a canopy of equal size so allow some space.
